This may be the wrong place to post, my apologies if so.
I recently got into building rigs for myself and friends. I am able to install linux and control the systems remotely on the command line. I am having a blast doing this, and maybe realizing I should look into this as a possible career. Currently I am a tech recruiter in the SF bay and I have placed these types of folks before.
I am curious if anyone has ever gone from a non-IT career to something in Linux Systems, and what is a good way to go about it? Currently I'm looking at community college certifications.
Thanks for any advice.
