WakeOnLAN on Home Server

I have a server running at my house, we'll call it "Server A". It is running Ubuntu 10.04 and is behind a Linksys WRT160Nv3 wireless router running DD-WRT, which is connected to a ZyXEL EQ-660R-F1 DSL modem. I was able to setup a DynamicDNS address for my server and so far it has been working perfectly. I can ssh into "Server A" remotely and do whatever I want with it.

But now I have an issue with "Server A" being constantly on. I don't need it on all the time, just need to be able to upload a few backup files then it could turn off. The backup is done on a VPS somewhere else, we'll call this server "Server B". It is a daily backup of "Server B" and I have setup a cronjob on "Server B" to execute a script which will upload files into "Server A".

This process is working perfectly and I have no issues with it so far. I am able to shut off "Server A" from "Server B", but can't turn it on. There were few tutorials online using WakeOnLan, which I have tried but didn't work. Is there anything anyone can recommend to be able to turn on "Server A" using "Server B"? "Server A" and "Server B" are not on the same network, but I have turned on "Server A" using wakeonlan utilities within "Server A's" network.

P.S: Both servers are running Ubuntu 10.04.
