specifying a relaying server in sendmail

10.50.0.180 = mail server.

1) Added FEATURE(mailertable', hash -o /etc/mail/mailertable.db')dnl in sendmail.mc then I rehash it to sendmail.cf

2) Added the following line in /etc/mail/mailertable atlas.cdw.abcuios.com smtp:[10.50.0.180]

3) Then did make -C /etc/mail

4) however when i do echo test | /usr/sbin/sendmail xyz@abc.com it's still going to outside instead of going to 10.50.0.180 as I specify.

You have any ideas? Oh the machine can ping 10.50.0.180 just fine.
