I'm having a really hard time to find something that can manage my Bind servers. At the moment, I'm using probind2 to push configs out to the DNS-servers, but it has no support for dnssec and development has stopped a few years back and there are a few bugs here and there. I'm not really fond of editing zone files manually.
I'm looking for a solution that is preferably open source and has an active development. It can be either web based (prefered) or an X gui (I could survive by using x forwarding).
A commercial solution could be an option, but I haven't seen any convincing. Many open source ones seems like something from the 90s and the user interface is just really horrible and nonintuitive.
Basically, I'm at the point considering to sell my soul (and zones) to amazon or some other company just to have a reliable and easy way to manage my DNS servers.
What could possibly keep me back, do you have any experience with a good *nix DNS manager?
Edit: I Like the "Do one thing well" approach, so I'm not looking for a ton of other features than DNS management.
