Vmware Player Centos Static IP Issues

I am attempting to build a web server from a Centos VM in Vmware Player. The issue I am coming across is that when I create the with NAT, I can get internet with DHCP set up, but the VMnet8 IP (192.168.233.1) and assigned IP of the machine (192.168.233.x) is outside of my router's actual DHCP scope (192.168.0.100-200). If I create the VM with a Bridged Connection (both with and without replicating), I cannot get any sort of internet connection with DHCP or a Static IP.

-Should I try increasing the range of my router's DHCP scope? -Is there something else that I am doing wrong or another direction I should go in?

Any advice/help would be great.
