We have a rapidly aging qmail/vpopmail/spamassassin virtual domain server that is on its last leg. We built a fairly powerful linux box to replace it with, but the software complement is still not completely decided upon.
I'm probably going to use postfix/dovecot for MTA/LDA (unless someone can convince me not to :), but haven't decided on spam/virus filtering.
I've run spamassassin with clamav for a few years, and they do an OK job, but it seems that quite a bit of spam still slips past them. I've experimented with DSPAM, but couldn't get the database to perform consistently.
Anyone else out there doing virtual email hosting on open-source software? Mind sharing what works for you?
