TL;DR: What am I missing? Any other suggested resources?
I'm preparing for the RHCSA 7, and I'm trying to make sure I cover all my bases, since I can't afford the official training and unofficial training is mostly for version 6 from what I can tell.
Current plan:
- reviewed CBT Nuggets LPIC videos
- CBT Nuggets video on CentOS 6
- exam objectives at CertDepot
- CertDepot resource page
- Installing CentOS on a laptop at work, a VM on my workstation, and a small appliance box at home and configuring various services
My background: I have a fair amount of Linux experience, mostly Arch Linux, followed by the Debians. I don't have much experience with Red Hat, though I did work at a place deploying and maintaining linux-based embedded systems based on an old release of Fedora. I've done a fair blend of home/desktop use, scripting, embedded installs, and servers configurations.
Any advice? Suggested resources? Things you didn't expect to be covered so thoroughly on the test?
Thanks!
