Problems bridging networks with Virt-Manager in RHEL/CentOs

Hey all,

I'm having a bit (read: massive amounts) of trouble trying to bridge the network between my physical host (CentOs) and my VM (also CentOS) using virt-manager. I followed a few guides, but either by user error or some other shenanigans, couldn't get it to work for me.. so i thought i'd post here.

Any help would be great as this is driving me crazy.. (and with my luck this will probably turn out to be something super simple )
