I'm a student worker at my school and my schools admin let me virtualize a Ubuntu server. Im looking to learn how to do security and I was wondering how I would set up booby traps and alerts for in case someone "breaks in" to the server (which would be me or my friend). Any other security pointers would be great!
I'm sorry if this isn't the place to post this, but I figured you guys would be able to provide a lot of technical insight into this. Thanks in advance!
