Alternatives to dovecot

Hi all,

I'm looking for an alternative solution to dovecot for IMAP with virtual domains/users.

I can't get this shit working. I've been pulling my hair out for a week, tried about 10-15 different configs, no joy.

So, what do people use as their MDA?

Or has someone got experience with dovecot and can teach me the voodoo ritual/blood sacrifice that I have to perform to get it working?
