PHP versions question

All, I am pretty certain these are the same but wanted to verify with those more experienced. Are php 5.3.27 and 5.3.3-27 the same? I have been asked to upgrade to 5.3.27 but every repository I use shows the packages as 5.3.3-27. From this page - http://us3.php.net/releases/ I see that 5.3.27 was released on 07/2013 and that aligns pretty closely for the date I am finding for 5.3.3-27 - http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/centos/updates/6.5/x86_64/Packages/php-mysql-5.3.3-27.el6_5.x86_64.html
