For lack of a better explanation, this tool is being shoved down our throats by upper management because it's "already paid for" and "worked so well for the Windows group", and clearly more robust tools like Puppet/Foreman are effectively off the table. Nothing I have seen so far has impressed me, and we're not having a great time with the SME that's supposed to help us build the Linux POC, but it's been pretty well determined that we have to make it work unless there is an overwhelmingly compelling reason not to.
That said, has anyone successfully implemented this in their Linux environment, and if so, how did you do it? Can you compare it to other implementations with products like Satellite/Puppet/Foreman, etc.?
