Hi all -
Recently started as a contractor "Unix" admin, supporting Red Hat Linux and Solaris. This is alll good, except one little rub: The office is all Windows 7. Beyond gaming and virus extraction (which I've retained from a past, consumer-support life), I really don't know Windows.
I use a variety of window managers at home, and I learned to interface nicely in OSX at my last job. Any tips on how to touch the mouse as little as possible in Windows 7? How to configure the GUI to my satisfaction without getting hacky?
Thanks!
EDIT: Yes, they require a Windows workstation. Default Unix-y programs are PuTTY and Exceed - learned to download Xming right quick!
