ZFS on Ubuntu 16.04

Hey All,

So I am in the planning stages of setting up ZFS Storage for Ubuntu 16.04. I'll have a 36 Bay Server populated with 6TB Disks.

Now I will be running RAIDz3. My next stage will be planning how many SSDs are required for cache + the specs of the server. Now from my understanding, RAM Wise I will need 1GB Memory per TB of Storage. So about 180GB of RAM, but I will be running Gluster on top so I'll most likely sit on 256GB Ram to be safe.

What I am confused about though is how much cache storage is required. Is there a guide that people follow for ZIL and L2ARC sizing? Will I be able to get away with 2x 240GB SSDs for ZIL (Mirrored) and 1x 240GB SSD for L2ARC in a 36 bay Scenario. So minus 3 for Raid and Minus 3 for Cache, means 180GB Storage overall for the server.

Does this sound right, or will I need more Cache space?
