I've been busy the past year with school, learning different programing languages, and various other projects so I received an email saying my LFCE exam was about to expire soon so I scheduled it for next week which should give me enough time for a retake. The distro I selected is CentOS 7 for Systemd to make managing services, logging, and networking easier. I have a major of the topics listed covered but others are extremely vague or overlap so I'm hoping for clarification; specifically -
Implement packet filtering
Monitor network performance
Produce and deliver reports on system use, outages and user requests
Route IP traffic statically and dynamically
Transfer files securely via the network
And if there will be included topics not listed.
- SELinux
- Firewalld
- NetworkManager
- iSCSI
- FTP
- SMB
- NFS v3 or v4 w/ LDAP/Kerberos?
As well as topics from LFCS? Although relooking at the LFCS overview, I don't remember even a fraction of the topics listed to be in the test I took in 2014.
