Is php-fpm or apache mod_php/fcgid more frequently used in business?

If you had to work with apache, which was more frequently used? Mod_php(example mod_fcgid.x86_64 : FastCGI interface module for Apache 2) or php-fpm?

I've always used nginx and php5-fpm on Debian in the past year and I'm confused with apache and all the mod_wtfs it has.
