Not sure if this is the right place to ask this as it is really basic stuff, but does anybody have any tips for the LPI Linux Essentials?
After Essentials I am thinking of taking the Linux+ for the 3-in-1, then the LFCS.
Then trying to get some real world (outside my own network) experience before moving onto the RHCSA.
EDIT: Should have been clearer on this as I know certain certifications basically just prove your ability to memorize facts, and are generally looked down upon by the community in general. As it stands my experience as a Linux administrator is along the lines of "Support all these Windows boxes... Oh no, the random Linux box that nobody knows how to use went down."
The certs are so that my management can tell the people who think their monitor is a computer, but somehow control all the money, that I know what I am doing. Possibly even show them a pretty piece of paper.
