RHCSA study lab setup question

If anyone here has happened to have setup the lab for the RHCSA according to the Michael Jang study guide I would appredciate some input..

I'm setting up my VM "server1" according to the table 1-2 in chapter 1. They give the hostname and ip address but I was curious if someone could fill in one blank for me

The ip given is 192.168.122.50, on the 192.168.122.0/24 network, the hostname is server1.example.com, there is no default gateway listed. Since there is no actual "gateway" in my virtual setup i'm not really sure what to fill in.
