renaming all the files, directories, content with the matching syntax to another. [centos 7]

So basically I want to do %s/<syntax_A>/<syntax_B> equiv to a directory that will recursively look for syntax_A on file names, dir names and content that match syntax_A and replace it by syntax_B.
