In Red Hat Satellite (version 5.7), I know it's possible to issue reboot command to a system or a group of systems, but is it also possible to see if they successfully come back up online after reboot?
Reason I ask is that our patching process is a fairly manual process, so I'm trying to find ways to use the tools we have to automate it more. I've created system groups with the Servers I will be rebooting during our patch period and will be sending the reboot command through Satellite. I was wondering if I could also use Satellite to check which of the servers have successfully come back online. That way I don't have to manually log into each one to check if it came back up or not.
