Hey guys,
Do you guys think it is a good or bad practice to create your "own" commands to make your job easier?
For example... Say you are working with firewall-cmd a lot. And you get tired of its syntax.. You're doing some troubleshooting and For example you are running
firewall-cmd --reload
many times to test stuff.
Would you go ahead and make a very short alias to make your job easier?
For example something like:
fw r
Is this a good idea? Why or why not? In what cases will it matter? In what cases will it not?
Thanks.
