For work, I administer both Linux and Windows servers all running in a Windows Server 2012 AD environment. Currently, to manage everything, I'm using a Windows 7 VM running in VirtualBox. While I don't expect to be able to get rid of it fully, I feel like it's kind of become a crutch so I'm looking to reduce how much I actually use it. To that end, I'm looking for Linux software alternatives to be able to manage all the same things I do in Windows. My main hangups are Active Directory related tools (AD Users and Computers, Group Policy editor, etc.). Any suggestions?
TL;DR: Looking for Linux alternatives to manage Windows AD environment.
