Is it possible to bond two LACP pairs in to an active/backup bond? Network setup is two upstream switches for active/backup. All
mode 4 LACP (802.3ad) configured for eth0 + eth1 in to primary switch => lag0
mode 4 LACP (802.3ad) configured for eth2 + eth3 in to secondary switch => lag1
mode 1 active/backup configured with slaved devices of lag0 + lag1 => bond0
And now I can use bond0 to have redundancy
Is this possible?
EDIT: To be clear on the requirement...assume you already have a working bond0 which is comprised of eth0 to primary switch and eth1 to secondary switch. Active/backup is working fine. But now we want to use LACP and then introduce redundancy to an LACP configuration. So now eth0 and eth1 are an LACP pair and eth2+eth3 are another LACP pair and I want to join those two LACP pairs in to a redundant bond0. Is this possible?

EDIT3: Picture has a typo. Should be mode 1 for active/backup...but you gather the point lol
