RHCSA studying, virtualization, etc

I'm studying for the exam by going through Ghori's book. The exercises and labs seem to rely heavily on having a few VMs setup, which is an issue since I'm running CentOS in VirtualBox. Anybody out there have gotten around this somehow? I'm willing to just install CentOS on a SSD to get the KVM benefits, but sort of as a last resort.
