First off I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to linux so I'm hoping this is a simple mistake.
I'm trying to get vsftpd to work and using passive mode. I go into vsftpd.conf and set the passive settings as followed
pasv_enable=Yes pasv_max_port=54800 pasv_min_port=54700
Along with these port numbers I've used another set of ports and it doesn't seem to work. Include 1024-1034. I have correctly port fowarded these ports to the correct internal IP address in my router. I've done other port forwarding with my router so I feel like this is probably done right.
I haven't made any entries in iptables, and from what I understand, that means it allows any ports through.
I can connect to the FTP while on my network, but when I try outside my network(on the internet) it gets stuck at listing the directory. Here is a readout of filezilla when trying to connect on the network and from the internet.
