Does this even make sense?

When I SSH to a server from within the same subnet I get permission denied... but when I do it from my workstation it has no issues.

openssh-server config is default

I'm using certificates (the same one from either source computer)

• It's not firewall
• It's not selinux
• It's not the certificate
• It's not the openssh configuration

Am I missing something obvious? I thought this shit was pretty straightforward.
