bind question - internal & external server

Hi Guys -

I have an internal server to resolve records for internal records and private IPs but I also have external DNS hosted with GoDaddy. The internal server is 100% for internal use to resolve private IPs but sometimes I want to have a record exist in GoDaddy and not have to create it inside internal with the external IP. I'd like it if internal DNS could "forward if no record found" or something like that

Is this possible?
