Stop PuppyLinux version from saving at shutdown.

Hi all,

I have made a kiosk mode flash drive from a version of PuppyLinux called BrowserLinux 501. This version has only firefox installed, which is the only thing I need for my kiosk mode flash drive. I have saved the configuration, and currently everything seems to be working fine. However, I need it to stop saving at shutdown. I modified the file /etc/rc.d/rc.shutdown, by commenting out the following command

"#/usr/sbin/snapmergepuppy /initrd/pup_ro1 /initrd/pup_rw"

located in the line 769. This actually does the trick, however, after saving that file and restarting the computer, I get a message saying that the computer has been shutdown incorrectly.

In short, I need a way to get rid of this message, or another solution to stop the OS from saving back to the flashdrive.

PS: Please forgive me if this post should be in another subreddit.
