Distro to use for a new production server.

Hello!

So, I've been tasked with setting up a new Linux production server to act as a replacement for a windows 2003 domain controller. Eventually, however, I'll need to set up a few more servers running other services (including redundancy for said domain controller) so my choice should be consistent over each new server.

I personally use Arch as my distro of choice on my personal machines although I'm not convinced it is a suitable candidate for a production server. Coming from an Arch Linux background though, I would prefer some of the same system tools if possible (such as systemd). I will also most likely be using docker as much as possible which may render my last statement moot.

After looking around a bit, it looks like CentOS or Debian are the popular choices. What are your thoughts?
