Greetings Everyone, I've been a lurker here for some time and this is my first post on this sub, but I'm having difficulty finding information regarding this specific issue.
I have a user on a Windows 7 OS that is using MobaXterm to SSH into our environment. But recently (last couple of weeks), he has random disconnects dropping his SSH sessions. So far I've followed and applied the information available on the MobaXterm site and despite these things it continues to disconnect.
- Keep Alive is checked on.
- Simplified Algorithms for "Connection reset by peer" error is in place.
- Disabled SFTP client on connection.
- Compression is on.
As ridiculous as this sounds, but unfortunately is the case, my team does not have admin rights on the windows machine nor the network it is immediately connected to, we only have admin privileges on the Linux environment and it's corresponding subnet. Those who do have admin privileges on the Windows machine won't touch it because it remotes into a Linux environment and "That's not our field" thing kicks in. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
