Software that logs hardware

I am looking for software that logs the hardware of the box it is ran on, any ideas?

My Google-fu has failed me on this. I am aware of dmesg and other command line utilities, but I am hoping for something far more automated and pretty.

Yeah I know about lspci and lsusb. They have a variety of different hardware for their Linux boxes, some are even workstations. I can setup/configure a bit on Linux but when documenting systems I am slow on doing it for Linux.
