NFSv4 shares not showing as larger after expansion on client (they do show as expanded on server.)

I have an NFS server where I expanded the size of one of the shares. The share shows as larger on the server, but on clients it still shows the old size. I have restarted nfs-kernel-service on the server, and have tried umount/mount as well as reboot on the client.

I think that rebooting the server might solve this (pretty sure I ended up "solving" this with a reboot last time) but it's not the type of solution I like.

I think there should be a way to get the proper values to show up without a reboot.

I have tried "sudo mount -o remount /mountpoint" on the client but that did nothing.
