I am currently in a search of a simple helpdesk application.
Tasks are quite simple:
Client logins with his LDAP credentials
Client has a dropdown menu with a list of typical tasks like:
make a new server
buy something
add new user to email
etc.
After the task chosen, there should be fillable text fields, like "whats the server name" "what are RAM requirements" and so on. Email notification would be nice for both parties, but not critical.
It needs to be on our server, online services are not out choice. So far I've only tested OTRS (looks like the most popular one?), but after some hours in setup I decided that was an overkill and too complex for our tasks.
Any recommendations? Any help would be much appreciated.
