Hello, quickie but not so easy to answer, I realize:
What are some decent ways to move from a Windows sysadmin to Linux sysadmin? I don't have time to be at home and practice much so it would be have to be on the job. I don't have a problem taking a big pay cut to start out as a low level sys admin where I can learn on the spot, but I know how small of a demand there is on the Linux side of things compared to Windows at most places.
Is it realistic to expect SOME jobs out there that will help with this regard, without having to start out at some web hosting company doing customer service?
