Is there a good way to share calendars and contacts with Linux?

I'm looking for a cross-platform method to sync calendars and contacts between Outlook, Android, and iOS that could be used as a replacement for Exchange Server.

It's hard to believe that the only main difference between a Postfix/Dovecot setup an Exchange server is calendars and contacts.
