Hey guys, I've been asked to get one of our students involved with helping to manage and maintain some of the scripts we use for day to day tasks, but have found that he doesn't have a working knowledge of Shell Scripting, and am trying to give him a primer on this. As such, it's been a few years since I've looked at updating my User Creation Script and I'm wondering if anyone might be willing to share example scripts that I can use to explain concepts and tasks used to accomplish this task.
I'm looking to show a wider variety of how one can create or accomplish a task using a script. I've created most of the scripts we use, and want to show a different perspective on how different methods can be used to accomplish the same thing. Not looking for support, just trying to provide a more well rounded set of examples to give that don't all look the same.
