Hello:
Our director is asking us to look at bright cluster manager and I was hoping I could get some opinions from people who use the software.
- What do you think of it?
- Does it actually make your job easier?
- How comfortable are you managing linux cluster systems without Bright?
- What do you feel are the big positives/negatives of Bright?
We've looked at other solutions before and felt that the system we currently have in place (home grown using open source tools) does 90% of what paid solutions provide. The 10% we don't have is the "nice-to-have" stuff that isn't critical to getting things done with our clusters.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
