Just looking for advice and guidance in the right direction as i am totally confused. My predecessor used yum to install some perl modules and at times used cpan, so the documentation is all over the place. what's the best way to handle these perl modules on a linux system. I did a search on here and found carton and few other tools like that. But I do not want to choose a solution haphazardly since I have no experience with this .
What do you guys use ? how do you maintain same perl libraries across various machines that your app is hosted on ? How to avoid a clusterfck I am in ?
