Hi all hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Got an Ubuntu 12.04 backuppc connected to synology NAS over iscsi which has shat the bed after a network outage.
I have the backuppc server up and running and using iscsiadm have connected the initiator (backuppc) to the target (synology) and have logged in.
On my phone now (heading home) and notes not to hand (never having touched iscsi til today) but something like iscsiadm -m session -P 3 showed correct target logged in and connected and just dandy but there was no scsi device listed at the bottom.
Fdisk -l shows only the existing backuppc server volumes and not the new disk label I'd expect from the synology. Likewise nothing shows in dmesg.
Has anyone encountered this before or have any troubleshooting recommendations? I've googled fairly extensively but not found anything helpful.
