sorry about the uninformative title, but i'm not exactly sure what is at fault.
I recently did a system upgrade through pacman, and I copied the kernel over to my efi partition under EFI/arch. i am using the refind boot loader to boot the kernel. the kernel in the EFI partition boots, but fails to boot my root partition which is on /dev/sda2... i get the message: ERROR: unable to find root device /dev/sda2 you are being dropped to recovery shell... where i can't use my keyboard to type anything in to the recovery shell. someone please help me. i tried asking on superuser, but noone replied and im a linux noob :(
