Hello,
I'm sure this is possible, but my google-fu is just not strong enough.
Can anyone provide me with a link or tell me how i get postfix to put me and other admins as bcc on all the mailer-daemon error mails? you know, the mail you get if for example you send an email to a non-existing account.
We have a lot of scripts and other automated processes that send out emails, and i would like to get the errors if there are any.
edit:
Sorry, i might not have been totally clear..
The mail server is just a relay host.. other servers sends outgoing email through it. if on of the recipients does not exist, the relay mail server generates a mail-daemon error email and try's to send that back to the original server that send the outgoing email.
However, that server does not allow email receiving. so the error is just lost and no one receives it. /etc/aliases is only for incoming emails to a user, right? i want to bcc on outgoing email from mailer-daemon
