[edit] Resolved. TL;DR I'm a goddamn idiot. Thank you to everyone who responded and gave me ideas on what to look for. It was short tags being turned off which was a suggestion posted 6 hours ago that I didn't see until I found it myself ugh. Thanks again guys and girls.
Hi All, I'm a pretty seasoned Linux admin but I can't for the life of me figure this one out. Here's the scenario.
CentOS 6 httpd installed php installed php mysql installed php postgresql installed
Databases installed as well. Now Apache is working fine but no matter what I do I can't get any .php file to display. I am just testing with the default /var/www/html directory for now.
I have verified that iptables is off ( internal test network ) and that selinux has been disabled via sestatus.
What could I be doing wrong here? I ran into the same issue with Fedora 15 but Cent 5.4 works fine except that all of the packages are way out of date.
Google has failed me at this point so any pointers, tips, links etc would be super appreciated. This isn't my first foray into Cent but first in setting up the LAMP stack.
Thanks and Cheers
