Streaming movies for simultaneous viewing?

Hi all, I am currently renting a server at a datacenter for a backup device for some stuff I don't want to lose. I have family and friends a few hundred miles away I'd like to be able to watch movies and the such with if possible. Anything you would recommend to stream movies like this with them so we could all watch it at the same time?

Currently running owncloud which we're using for data backup, a minecraft server, and a torrent seedbox.
