Certificate Recommendations

I'm planning on getting my RHCE later this year, but if possible I would like to get some other certs to support my Linux skills.

I was considering taking the ICND1 for the CCENT and later following it up with the ICND2 to get the CCNA. Is it possible to get the CCENT after a month or two of hard study? Would I be better off using the extra time to study for the RHCE?

Is it worth getting the CCENT/CCNA to show that I have basic networking administration skills? Are there other certs that would be more immediately useful? I'd like to increase my knowledge base to be a more valuable employee and to get a raise/promotion in the future.

Any advice that you can provide would be most appreciated.
