I have a log file from a windows server that dos2unix isn't converting. It's says it's a binary file. When I use a -f to force dos2unix to run on it, nothing gets changed. I can open the file in vi or gedit fine. In vi, I see the M returns at the end of each line. I use dos2unix a lot on other log files from windows. The only difference is that this one is being generated by a powershell script. Is there something odd with powershell output? Anyone else run across this?
