Hi Folks,

Been running a large install of Nagios in our environment and while I'm fairly comfortable with it and have scripted out a lot of the manual work involved in adding machines to it I've been wondering if it might be time to try something new. Was wondering what the thoughts on here for a nagios replacement that would work well with the following requirements:

  • RHEL or SLES11 (preferred) packages for installation of actual monitoring applicatoin
  • Solid usage of SNMP with the option of mixing in clients as needed.
  • Easy to use web interface for adding single machines but a really good method of entering a bulk number of systems
  • Alert templates set at both system and system group level
  • Clean and easy web interface, something that works well on blackberry browser as well
  • Good user management and view management
