Good morning all. I'm deeply aggravated at the moment by the fact that my (to my eye) correctly formatted SSL certificate is not trusted on mobile browsers even though it is on all desktop browsers. I've come across some allusions to the entire chain needing to be visible to the browser in my Googlings, but not what that actually means.
Currently the private key (.key) and public certificate (.crt) files live separately in /etc/ssl/private, and the /crt forms the first part of the three-certificate .pem file in /etc/ssl/certs, so pretty much normal as far as I can tell. Am I just being calamitously stupid and not spotting an obvious problem, or is this an issue that others have had?
Ta.
