I would like to get myself familiarized with some configuration management applications (puppet, chef, salt etc.) just to know what these tools are capable of. I don't really have an application to deploy these utilities yet, mainly because of my unfamiliarity of their functions.
Can someone provide some resources. Maybe tutorials, scenarios, walkthroughs, that demonstrate some basic functionality of these tools?
